I am so happy to be part of this scent exhibition in New York at the olfactory art keller. The theme was a remake of a scent.
My fragrance is inspired by Hypnotic Poison by Dior. My sister and I loved this iconic perfume and used it for a very long time. However, a few years ago the recipe was changed and we didn’t like it at all. Hence my decision to venture a new interpretation of this scent. I changed some of the ingredients and made it a more unisex approach.
I find it exciting to break open something that simply smells good and pleasant with the help of something supposedly smelly, like I did here with the scent of an ashtray. On its own it just smells awful, but in this recipe it adds a slightly smoky note without standing out.
