Next week, I will travel to Athens to participate in the Experimental Scent Summit, an international gathering dedicated to the exploration of scent as a cultural, artistic, and sensory medium.
Bringing together artists, perfumers, researchers, and innovators from around the world, the summit creates a space for dialogue beyond the visual—where smell becomes a tool for storytelling, memory, emotion, and connection.
As an artist working with photography, textiles, and fragrance, I am particularly interested in how olfactory experiences can expand our understanding of contemporary art and challenge the dominance of the visual. The summit offers an inspiring opportunity to exchange ideas, discover new perspectives, and engage with a growing international community dedicated to multisensory practices.
I look forward to immersing myself in conversations, encounters, and experiments that continue to shape my ongoing research into the invisible yet powerful language of scent.
More impressions and insights from Athens will follow soon.
